Fundemonium: A World of Fun In Store

BACKGROUND

What is Fundemonium?

The owners decided to separate from a long-standing relationship with Hobby Town, a national hobby / toy franchise and sought to create a brand that encapsulates their vision of an activity-centered enterprise that not only sells hobbies, games and toys, but facilitates / enhances their use and enjoyment.

OBJECTIVES

What did we do for Fundemonium?

Developed a unique, memorable and appealing logo for new, independent store that sells the products and means to enjoy a variety of entertaining, educational individual as well as family-bonding activities: including hobbies, games and toys. The central element of the logo is Fundemonium’s mascot: robot named Funbot who has a 3D printer in his torso.

RESULTS

Fundemonium has become the most
successful toy, hobby and game store
in the North Bay.

In the 9 years that have elapsed since the re-branding effort, the store is thriving and growing. They host R/C car tournaments, role-playing game tournaments and model-building expos, to name just a few of the events that fill their annual calendar. Their party room is much in demand. This last year they initiated a redesign of the store’s interior that will feature theme-based structures created by a local special-effects designer––Shawn Thorsson. Read more about it here.
